Prominent Boston law firm consolidates its IT infrastructure utilizing virtual server technology.

Boston, MA -- April 13, 2006 - A prominent Boston law firm has successfully engaged Reality IT Services, LLC to design and implement virtual server technology to consolidate their server environment. The firm decided to virtualize their server hardware in order to take advantage of the environmental, performance, disaster recovery and the many other advantages that server virtualization technology offers.

The firm selected Reality IT Services, LLC to implement a virtual server solution based on experience, solution design, high level of service provided and total cost of ownership.

Reality IT Services, LLC completed the virtual server implementation in record time. In thirty days, approximately fifteen mission critical servers were consolidated down to two servers and a storage area network (SAN) which occupied twelve rack units. The project was completed without disruption to end users with very little downtime. During the implementation process, Reality IT performed an upgrade to the firm's Citrix remote access servers by rebuilding them in a virtual Citrix server farm.
